Many people going to the Democratic State Convention have asked us if we will caucus at the convention. Our answer? Not exactly. We aren't a caucus. Caucuses are good for somethings. They are good for talking about things, but our philosophy is stop talking about it and do something. That is why we just held the largest Democratic event in Amarillo in living memory. That is why we just awarded our first grant to a county party. That is why we are starting the difficult work of organizing new county parties in rural West Texas as we speak.
If you are interested in the work of The 134 PAC, or would just like to talk rural Democratic challenges and issues, meet with us this Friday at the House of Blues in Dallas, Texas at 7:00 p.m. We will be at the Kim Olson party but will have a table to talk away from the party.
