We view growth in primary participation as crucial to growing the presence and influence of Democrats in rural Texas. Until we make our primaries worth participating in it will continue to be difficult to recruit local candidates, and to deliver for our District and Statewide candidates. That is why we chose to do a separate round of grants just for GOTV efforts for the primary.
We will start accepting applications December 11, 2023 and the deadline for submission is January 11, 2024. No applications will be considered until the close of the application period.
