These grants are what we raise money for all year long, and why we constantly ask for contributions to our Joshua Fund. Through our summer fundraiser in Amarillo July 9 we hope to raise even more money so we can make even more grants. We want to provide resources to struggling rural Democratic county parties to help them promote Democratic candidates and increase their voter turnout in the November election.
This is part of our strategy to build the Democratic Party's presence in rural Texas long term.
