Redistricting is the most important part of our democracy that no one ever participates in. Let's change that. There are three legislative public hearings on redistricting this week. As reported in the Texas Tribune, they are scheduled as follows:
March 11 at 9 a.m. Central time. Regional focus is the Austin area.
March 12 at 10 a.m. Central time. Regional focus is the El Paso area.
March 13 at 9 a.m. Central time. The focus is "All Regions: Let’s Talk Texas."
You have to register in advance to speak. You may also watch without providing testimony. Chose the hearing you want to attend from this List and click the link to attend to register to speak or watch without testifying.
We need rural Texas well represented. Attend and comment at one of these hearings or pay attention for future hearings.
